RoboPharma – EU-funded project on decentralized pharmaceutical manufacturing

RoboPharma is an EU-funded initiative led by CurifyLabs (Finland), focused on developing a decentralized pharmaceutical manufacturing platform using artificial intelligence and robotics to strengthen Europe’s medicine supply chain and crisis preparedness.

AtrimusRx AB participates as a partner in the RoboPharma consortium, together with organizations across Europe, including Fysioline Oy, Pharmacie Delpech, Tartu University Hospital, University Medical Center Mainz and Vaasa Hietalahti Pharmacy.

The project develops an agile manufacturing platform for pharmacies and hospital pharmacies, integrating AI-driven analytics, robotic dosing technologies, RFID tracking and automated workflows. The aim is to enable real-time, scalable and regulatory-compliant production of essential medicines, particularly in situations of medicine shortages or supply chain disruptions.

Project locations include Finland, Sweden, France, Estonia and Germany.

Funded through the EU4Health programme, the project strengthens Europe’s healthcare resilience by enabling hospitals and pharmacies to locally produce essential and personalized medicines.
